It started with a score.

Before a coffee is called exceptional, it is tasted, studied and scored. Its aroma, sweetness, balance, body and finish are all considered. Every detail matters, and every detail contributes to the final cup.

That way of thinking became the foundation of Scored.

From the beginning, we wanted to create a place guided by one simple belief: if something carries our name, it should be made to the highest standard possible. Not only our coffee, but every matcha, signature drink, ingredient, texture and finishing touch. Every choice should have a reason, and every item should earn its place on our menu.

Our name comes from the scoring system used to evaluate specialty coffee, but its meaning goes far beyond coffee. To us, a score is not simply a final number. It is a starting point—a reminder that quality can always be protected, refined and pushed further.

What is considered exceptional today becomes our standard for tomorrow.

That is why we keep tasting, adjusting and questioning what we do. We search for better ingredients, refine our recipes and pay attention to the smallest details that can transform a familiar drink into something memorable. We believe that being different does not always need to be loud. Sometimes, it can be found in better balance, a smoother texture, a more thoughtful combination or a cup that tastes exactly as it should every single time.

Coffee and matcha may come from different worlds, but at Scored, they are treated with the same level of care. An espresso should be precise and full of character. Matcha should be vibrant, smooth and balanced. A signature drink should feel creative without losing the quality of what is inside it. Nothing is added simply to follow a trend, and nothing is served simply to fill a space on the menu.

Some cups begin early mornings. Others are carried between meetings, shared during long conversations or enjoyed slowly when there is nowhere else to be. Whatever brings someone to Scored, we want the cup in their hand to feel worth choosing—and worth returning for.

For us, quality is not something achieved once and displayed forever. It is something we work to maintain in every ingredient, every recipe and every cup. At the same time, we continue to evolve, experiment and create something new without losing the standards on which Scored was built.

We are not interested in reaching one perfect score and stopping there.

Because no matter how high the score becomes, our goal will always be to score higher.
